CRI Coatings was founded by four friends that had worked together for years. When the company they were working for was purchased they decided to team up and start their own company to secure their futures and build a company that will live on for generations. Our expert residential, commercial, and industrial painters are highly skilled and knowledgeable in the latest techniques and technologies--but along with advanced training,we still believe in time-honored values like honesty, integrity, and hard work.
When you consult with us on your residential, commercial or industrial projects, we'll be completely upfront with you, offering recommendations solely in your best interests. If painting isn't necessary, we'll tell you so--and we'll suggest alternate solutions to save you time and money

Our professional crews have years of hands-on experience with a wide scale of projects, from all size residential homes, chain stores, and banks, to warehouses and industrial projects. We believe that a business is only as effective as it's people; our management team is very knowledgeable with over 30 years experience in all phases of the painting trade.

Meet the Management
Michael Jansens
Mike has been in the painting trade for over 30 years. He began working in the residential field, painting interior and exteriors of new and remodeled homes for approximately 12 years, then transcended over with large painting firm as a commercial painter, working on painting projects such as Hospitals, Library’s, Malls, Box Stores, College Dorms, Hotels, etc.
Eddie Salas
Eddie has been in the industry for over 15 years. He started in the residential field painting houses and apartments, moved to the commercial field painting schools, hospitals, hotels, etc. Eddie then moved to the industrial coatings field coating tanks, water/wastewater plants, basin and clarifiers, and steel structures. He has a wide range of knowledge applying latex, dry falls, urethanes, epoxies, sealers, etc. Eddie has worked his way from a commercial painter to Industrial Project Manager overseeing numerous high profile projects. Eddie has been completing continuing education with the Society of Protective Coatings (SSPC).
Heath Standring
Heath has been in the painting and coating industry for 25 years. He has a very strong sense of professional business practices, family values and how to build relationships that will last a lifetime. Heath believes in providing competitive and fair pricing, applying premium products, working as a team, timely practices, having a positive personality and a complete painting or coating project guaranteed upon completion. Heath has completed and received his certification for OSHA. Heath has been estimating for over 4 years on projects ranging from $1,000.00 to $2,000,000.00.
Gary Rice
Gary has been in the industry for more than 25 years. He started in the residential, custom home, and small commercial market completing project on the Western Slope. Gary transcended into the bigger commercial market completing schools, hotels, hospitals, etc. After 20+ years working on residential projects, Gary worked his way up from a painter to a Commercial Project Manager and has started learning industrial coatings.
